       Born and raised in Sulphur, Louisiana, Beau Guidry’s musical influences began within his own family, where a love for music and performance were instilled in him at an early age. After moving to Orlando, Fl, he began performing in bands, an activity that quickly spawned his dream of a lifetime as an entertainer. He has not only taken this dream to the stage as a musician, but into other endeavors as an actor, teacher and father, where he sees the ability to captivate as paramount.
It is his role as a father that most defines him and drives his desire to realize his dream of sustainability as an artist. The idea of sustainability is a constant theme in the heart and mind of Beau Guidry, and his music tends to reflect a disdain for excessive consumption through sarcasm and wit. He supports the legalization of all drugs as a means to eliminate organized criminal activity and a reduction of excessive global consumption to ensure precious resources for future generations.
Happy to be creating music alongside his family and friends (some of which go back to an era of pre-cognition), Beau Guidry strives to be more than an artist and entertainer, but an honorable man in a world that he sees as failing to produce enough examples of such individuals. Ashes of Babylon is not only a band to him, but a means to communicate the happiness and positivity that he believes must overtake the culture of consumption and competition that continues to degrade our precious world.
